Palazzo Vecchio (The Old Palace), here is the « Room of 500 »: the enormous council chamber. The largest in volume in Italy. Both Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci were called upon to paint the frescoes.
Florence is of moderate size and can be easily visited on foot, but discovering its secrets needs time.
